Melonie Pascual, Paralegal
Melonie joined Gilliam Law Firm PLLC as a paralegal in 2011. Melonie provides support to Mr. Gilliam and our clients in guardianship matters, Medicaid application process, probate and estate administration, and in a variety of estate planning matters. Melonie has been working in the legal field for over 13 years, and she has handled hundreds of cases from beginning to end. With her in-depth knowledge of matters of form and procedure, Melonie is able to efficiently manage clients' estates and guide them through the legal process. Melonie is a strong advocate for clients also, and she believes in the fundamentals of good client care.
Leona James, Legal Assistant
Leona joined Gilliam Law Firm PLLC as a Legal Assistant in 2017. Leona assists the attorneys and our clients with the various legal services we provide. Leona concentrates her time in traffic violations, wills, powers of attorney, and office management. Leona also manages our client database and court calendar. Leona is new to the legal profession, but she has an extensive background in computers and customer service. A physics major, she is detail oriented and strives for the best client service possible.
Leona is a Notary Public commissioned by the State of North Carolina.
Laura Hatcher, Legal Assistant
Laura joined Gilliam Law Firm PLLC as a part-time Legal Assistant in 2017. Laura Anne assists the attorneys with the various legal services that we provide. She also assists with a variety of administrative tasks. Laura is a part-time student pursuing her MBA at Fayetteville State University. Laura is experienced in several software programs and website development. Her goal is deliver up-to-date and pertinent information online to our clients.
